Our custom manufacturing capabilities for terminals include:

1. Continuous Strip Terminals (Reeled Terminals)

Description: These terminals are left attached to a carrier strip and wound onto reels.

Application: Designed for use with Automatic Crimping Machines (Applicators). This format is the industry standard for high-speed wire harness assembly, ensuring maximum throughput and consistent crimp quality.

2. Quick Disconnect Terminals

Commonly known as “Faston” or “Blade” connectors, these are designed for “push-on” convenience.

Male & Female Disconnects: These provide a reliable yet detachable connection. The female terminal usually features a “dimple” or spring-loaded design to ensure high retention force against the male tab.

Flag Terminals: A variation where the wire crimp is at a 90-degree angle to the mating surface. These are essential for home appliances (like water heaters or ovens) where vertical space is limited.

3. PCB Mount & Press-Fit Terminals

With the rise of electronics, these stamped parts bridge the gap between wires and circuit boards.

Solder Tabs/Pins: Stamped components that are soldered directly into a PCB.

Press-Fit (Compliant Pin) Terminals: Often called “Eye-of-the-Needle” terminals. These use a flexible stamped structure to create a “gas-tight” mechanical connection with the PCB hole, eliminating the need for soldering and avoiding thermal stress.

4. Splices and Wire Joints

Used for permanent electrical junctions between two or more wires.

Butt Splices: Used to join two wires end-to-end to extend a circuit.

Step-down Splices: Used to connect wires of different gauges (diameters).

Open-Barrel Splices: Stamped “U” or “V” shaped copper bands used for rapid parallel splicing in automotive harnesses.

5. Bullet and Receptacle Terminals

Bullet Terminals: A cylindrical male terminal that snaps into a hollow, tube-shaped female receptacle. They provide a sleek, narrow profile and are often used in automotive lighting and motorcycle wiring due to their ease of insulation with heat-shrink or PVC sleeves.

6. Ring and Spade Terminals

These are often referred to as “Lug Terminals” and are designed for secure stud or screw-mount connections.

Ring Terminals: These feature a circular loop design. They are the most secure type of terminal because they cannot be disconnected without fully removing the screw or bolt. They are widely used in high-vibration automotive and industrial grounding applications.

Spade (Fork) Terminals: These have an open-ended “U” shape. They allow for rapid installation and removal since the screw only needs to be loosened, not removed. These are ideal for space-constrained terminal blocks.

  • Material Selection: “We utilize premium alloys including Phosphor Bronze for superior elasticity and C2680 Brass for optimal conductivity.”
  • Precision Tooling: “Our In-house Progressive Die capabilities ensure tolerances within ±0.01 mm”
  • Plating Excellence: “We offer advanced surface treatments such as Reflow Tinning, Selective Gold Plating,Silver Plating and Nickel Under plating to prevent oxidation and whiskering.”
